We are ambitious for our borough - we want to secure investment so that current and future generations continue to live in a thriving place. We have great aspirations for our residents too and we want to support residents to live the best lives possible and to reach their potential. And importantly we want to be good at what we do, to be fair and inclusive, and to be careful with our resources particularly during these challenging times, so that we can achieve the best for Bexley.
Our ambitions are underpinned by our shared values and principles, which include standing up for Bexley, fairness and inclusion, working in partnership, early intervention and prevention, embracing change and innovation and making a difference for our residents.
The Council has recently published its ambitious Growth Strategy, created to establish Bexley as the foremost Borough in London for inclusive Economic Growth. The borough has much to offer: vibrant communities, beautiful green spaces and a strong sense of identity. We want to celebrate and build on these strengths to encourage innovation, attract investment and create opportunity.
Our vision is that Bexley will be a Borough that is ready for tomorrow, growing for a better future.
Future Bexley is an ambitious organisational transformation programme that is designed to embed high-quality resident services and secure long-term financial stability. We are embedding innovation and excellence into every service, creating a sustainable model that guarantees quality and lasting impact for every resident.
